The Tyer’s electric key-token instrument at Rufford Colliery Sidings. This was the successor to the type of tablet machine found at Mansfield South Junction. The engine driver required one of the key tokens as assurance that the train was authorised to occupy the single-line section to Mansfield Colliery Sidings. Mansfield Colliery Sidings also had one of these machines.
